Becoming.
For much of our lives, we wear masks. to protact ourselves, to fit in , to hide our fears, or struggles, and the parts of ourselves we think others will not accept.
This is about what happens when those masks begin to fall away.
Not a sudden tranformation, but a gradual process.
Layer by layer,
The colours rising through the figure represent something emerging from within.
For me, becoming is not about turning into someone new its about returning to who we truly are.

Where Did I Go.
Its easy to lose ourselves.
We compareour lives, our appearance, oursuccess, ourworth. Little by little, we begine measuring ourselves against others and drift away from who we truly are.
This painting explores that feeling of becoming obscured - not by who we are, but by who we think we should be.
The layers, drips, and veils represent the noise that can seperate us from our authentic selves.

Shifting Perspective.
When we shift our persective, we begin to see new possibilities. In this work, layers of colour and form mirror the way we change how we understand ourselves and our world.
Every shift opens a door to a future we are just begining to imagine.

The Cost Of Shame.
Shame doesnt just sit quietly. It shapes how we see ourselves.
It keeps us small, silent, and seperate.
We carry it in our body, hide under the surface, and live as less than we are.
But shame has a weekness.
The moment we speak it, it begins to lose its hold.

Alignment.
After my recent exhibition, I found myself a bit lost.
Unsure of direction. Questioning where to go next.
This piece came from that space.
No real plan - just turning up and letting the painting guide me again.
Somewhere along the way, things started to fall back into place.
Not perfectly but honestly.
This painting feels like a quiet return.
A coming back into alignment with myself and my work.

At Peace.
A portrait exploring the quiet space between emotional intensity and accepetance. The figure holds a sense of calm, while traces of colour and texture suggest the complexity that still lives beneath the surface.
Rather than presenting peace as a absence of struggle, the painting reflects a more subtle idea that stillness can exist alongside the feelings we carry.
